Participate in community events, health fairs and other projects promoting St. Joseph's Children's Hospital. May be required to design and implement curriculums for caregivers and/or children ages 3 to grade 12. Travel within the service area using own transportation. Perform other duties as assigned. The BayCare Kids Wellness & Safety Educator provides classroom instruction in the following areas: + Physical Activity and Nutrition for children of all ages + Bike, Pedestrian, Water and Home Safety + Safe Sitter- Babysitting + Puberty education + American Heart Association- Infant and Child CPR/First Aid Certification Training for Adults + Car Seat education as a Nationally Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician + Schedule will vary, with the majority scheduled during school or summer camp hours. One Saturday per month is required. + Work site locations such as schools, churches, community centers will be dependent on the instructor's home address.
