Position Summary:

The Tree Groundperson plays a vital role in supporting our tree crews by preparing job sites, operating equipment, and ensuring a safe and efficient workflow on the ground. This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys working outdoors, is eager to learn, and wants to advance in arboriculture.

Responsibilities:

• Assist climbers and crew leaders with ground operations for tree removals and pruning
• Load brush and wood into chippers and operate safely
• Use chainsaws and hand tools to process limbs and logs
• Set up and break down job sites, including traffic and pedestrian control
• Maintain equipment and tools in clean, working condition
• Follow all safety protocols and wear proper PPE
• Communicate clearly and work as part of a professional tree crew

Requirements:

• Prior experience in tree care, landscaping, or outdoor labor preferred
• Willingness to work in physically demanding outdoor conditions
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
• Valid Driver’s License preferred
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-minded
• Desire to grow into climbing or crew leadership roles
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required
